Moringa oleifera L. is renowned for its myriad health benefits attributed to its rich content of antioxidants, anti-hypertensive, and anti-inflammatory properties, among others. Extraction methods play a crucial role in harnessing the medicinal potential of Moringa leaves. Traditional methods such as maceration, while common, suffer from inefficiencies, requiring extensive time and solvent usage. In response, this study explores the efficacy of sonication as an alternative extraction method. Sonication utilizes specific wave frequencies (20kHz - 20MHz) to disrupt cell walls, facilitating the release of bioactive compounds without compromising their integrity. This approach offers a faster, more efficient extraction process with reduced solvent usage, thus enhancing the overall effectiveness of Moringa leaf extraction. The results, 99 seconders metabolic in fresh Moringa leaves, if extraction treatment, seconder metabolic from the Moringa leaf powder extract using the maceration method were 117 but sonication method contained seconder metabolic detected was 143. The bioactive compound dominant includes Trigonelline, Acetophenone, Kaempferol etc. It was recommended to use the sonication method to identify bioactive compounds in Moringa leaf extract.
