Optimizing Rice Through Climate Mitigation: a Systematic Literature Review

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of the El Nino climate phenomenon on rice production outcomes in West Sumatra through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) published in Scopus-indexed journals. The analysis findings indicate that despite numerous studies on the influence of climate on rice production, research specifically focused on West Sumatra remains limited. Therefore, this study provides a significant contribution to understanding the relationship between El Nino climate and rice production in this region, as well as laying the groundwork for further research in this field such as policy implications for climate change mitigation.
