Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain Ciayumajakuning Muscovy duck from catfish waste as an alternative feed that has high protein quality. The principle of this research is to compare three types of treatments with the addition of guava indigenous microorganisms (IMO) added to the muscovy duck feed. The parameters tested were the values feed content of each treatment. The experiment was designed with a complete Randomized Design of six treatments and four replications. P0 = Catfish Waste Meal + 2% EM4; P1 = Catfish Waste Meal + 1.5% EM4+0.5% Guava IMO; P2 = Catfish Waste Meal + 1% EM4 + 1% Guava IMO; P3 = Catfish Waste Meal + 0.5% EM4+1.5% Guava IMO; P4 = Catfish Waste Meal + 2% Guava IMO. The results of the study showed that each behavior has advantages in terms of feed content. The result of variance analysis showed that the muscovy duck feed in complete ration gave effect (P<0.05) to feed content value. The results of the study showed that the treatment of adding 1% EM4 with 1 % Guava IMO had the highest crude protein content of 55.55±0.895% and ME 4,582.5±35 kcal.
