Identification of Driven Stakeholders in Geothermal West Java for Support SDGs Number 7
Abstract
Strategic policies for the use of geothermal energy must be accompanied by good planning to ensure the supply of cheap and affordable energy in a sustainable manner. Stakeholders strongly determine the policies implemented that are more in favor of the interests of certain parties. People depend on the existence of energy to meet basic needs that can support life. Geothermal is an alternative clean energy that can be used to meet these needs. Stakeholder identification is the basis for forming a more effective policy strategy later, which can ensure the availability of geothermal energy supply. This study uses the prospective analysis method as the basis of the methodology and the MACTOR tool as a tool to find the main stakeholders. The results obtained are that the Ministry of Environment, the House of Representatives, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Finance and the West Java Regional Government are stakeholders who are encouraged in the sustainability of the use of geothermal energy in West Java Province which can support SDGs number 7 in Indonesia
