Tourism Development in Increasing Regional Original Income by Paying Attention to Disaster Aspects in Morotai Island Regency

The strategic role and contribution of the tourism sector to the Indonesian economy has encouraged the government to introduce 10 new Bali Tourism Strategic Areas or National Tourism Strategic Areas (KSPN), one of which is the Morotai tourism area. However, the tourism sector has not been able to contribute to the Regional Original Income (PAD) of Morotai Island Regency. The research aims to analyze the development of tourist attractions in increasing Regional Original Income (PAD) by considering disaster aspects in Morotai Island Regency. The scope of the research focused on 28 tourist attractions spread across South Morotai Regency. The research method uses quantitative methods. The data analysis technique was carried out using the Promethee method to create decision criteria. The results of the research show that developing tourist attractions that need attention to increase the PAD of Morotai Island Regency are Army Dock Beach Tourism with a value of 0.6190, Waterfront City 1 with a value of 0.5661, Religious Tourism with a value of 0.5026, Army Dock Park Tourism with a value of 0.4868, Trikora Museum & World War II Museum with a value of 0.4603 and CBD Gotalamo 0.4339.
