Abstract

Gogo rice is a dryland tolerant crop and can be grown as an intercrop under stands. The purpose of this study was to obtain superior varieties of gogo rice that are resistant to shade from 5 varieties of gogo rice that were shade treated. This study consists of 2 factors, namely the shade factor (N) as the main plot and the variety factor (V) as the child plot. The watering factor as the main plot consists of 4 levels, namely: N1= 30%, N2= 50%, N3= 75%.While the varietal factor as a plot consists of 5 (five) levels of treatment, namely: V1 = Inpago 12, V2 = Inpago 13, V3 = Inpago 9, V4 = Situ Patenggang, and V5 = Teak noble.Leaves are the main photosynthetic organs for plants that are directly involved in the process of capturing light and converting light energy into chemical energy through the process of photosynthesisDrought stress affects all factors of rice plant growth, ranging from changes in physiology, morphology, growth patterns, and finally affecting yield.
