Ciawi Bogor, is a region rich in potential in the agricultural sector, particularly in dairy farming. The distribution of dairy farmers in Ciawi District reaches approximately 20%. This figure highlights the vast opportunities for the development of home industries that process cow milk-based products. Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB), as a leading educational and research institution in Indonesia, is committed to supporting the development of the agricultural sector and local economy. In this effort, IPB collaborates with PT. Bogor Sari Nutrisi, a local MSME, and the CV. Wahyu Farm Sejahtera dairy farm to initiate a project aimed at developing mozzarella cheese and soft candy products made from local cow milk. This program aims to capitalize on this potential to increase the added value of agricultural products and strengthen the local economy. The implementation method involves a comprehensive situational analysis of local challenges and opportunities, dissemination of technology from university innovations to industry, and collaboration with business partners such as PT. Bogor Sari Nutrisi and CV. Wahyu Farm Sejahtera. The results of this initiative show improvements in production capacity and product quality, which are expected to become regional specialties. The program's achievements include enhancing the added value of local products, expanding market reach, and contributing positively to local economic growth through agriculture-based innovations and milk processing.
