Abstract

The agricultural industry in Indonesia continues to strive for sustainable solutions, one of which is the use of organic fertilizers. The management of cow manure waste in Kampung Manglad, Desa Cibodas, Kecamatan Rumpin, Kabupaten Bogor, serves as an example of efforts to improve agricultural quality through the Community Empowerment Program (PKM) funded by the Ditjen Dikti Kemendikbud. The Waste Processing Group (KPL) in Kampung Manglad collaborates with IPB to process cow manure into solid organic fertilizer. This program is implemented in four stages: enhancing the KPL's understanding, training in fertilizer production, technology adoption, and product marketing. The analysis results show that the solid organic fertilizer produced meets quality standards with nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) content exceeding the minimum requirements. This program not only provides a solution to environmental issues but also boosts the local economy.
