Pengelolaan Sumberdaya Ikan Berbasis Masyarakat Melalui Konservasi Sumberdaya Perairan Umum

Abstract

North Lampung Regency has the potential for natural resources of public waters such as rivers, swamps, and sites, but they have not been managed and developed as a support for the economic life of the community, especially in Madukoro Village, North Kotabumi District. The purpose of the service activity is to develop a community-based fish resource management model by maintaining and protecting the resources and environment of river / swamp / situ waters by making holes and fish houses as a place for fish to gather, grow and breed naturally, planting trees, and spreading fish seeds in nature, and implementing community rules in the utilization of fish resources in public waters strengthened by village regulations. The implementation method is socialization, counseling, and mentoring. Socialization can expand the collaboration of service activities with local universities and local governments.  Counseling and mentoring activities can increase awareness and participation of village communities to maintain and preserve river / swamp / lake water resources and fish resources in nature.
