The Community of Dosen Pulang Kampung (Dospulkam) aims to enhance the capacity of the residents of Sukaraja Village, Sukaraja District, Bogor Regency in processing safe, healthy, and halal animal-based food through product diversification. This program is driven by the community’s need to improve value-added food processing skills as well as the potential for developing home-based enterprises centered on animal protein. The activities were carried out through a partnership between IPB University, profit-based partners providing raw materials, and non-profit partners including members of the PKK and UMKM. The program included Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), training on meatball production and crispy chicken processing, food safety education, food-grade packaging design, and business analysis training. The implementation consisted of two main training sessions, each accompanied by hands-on practice. Evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests showed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding. In the first training session (meatball production, food safety, and packaging design), the average score increased from 67.46% to 97.69%, while in the second session (crispy chicken production and business analysis) the average score increased from 49.25% to 62.35%. Participants demonstrated high enthusiasm and were able to apply proper food processing techniques. The result of this program showed good impacts, including improved skills, enhanced understanding of food safety, and basic capabilities in simple business planning. Additional positive impacts include supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 2 (Zero Hunger), Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). Overall, the Dospulkam program successfully served as a community empowerment solution through diversification of animal-based food products as an effort to strengthen sustainable economic development in Sukaraja Village.
