The Dosen Pulang Kampung Program, which focuses on “Strengthening the Institutional Capacity of SPR Alumni Across Indonesia”, was implemented at SASPRI-K Cijeruk to strengthen the technical, managerial, and institutional capacity of smallholder farmers based on the Smallholder Livestock Farming model. Activities were conducted through a series of field visits from June to November 2025, including assesments of actual conditions, thematic discussions, technical evaluations, and institutional capacity-building sessions with group leaders and memberes. The methods employed included direct observation, in-depth interviews, interactive discussion sessions, and institutional and production analyses. The findings indicate that SASPRI-K posseses an active organizational structure and relatively stable milk production, yet continues to face several challenges such as the lack of legal institutional status, absence of standardized operating procedures, unintegrated record-keeping systems, inconsistent feed quality, and a weak foundation for industrial partnerships duet o the absence of formal MoUs. The intervention generated several strategic outputs, including detailed mapping of the nine internal divisions of SASPRI-K, technical recommendations related to husbandry and sanitation, an initial collective business plan, formation of a preparatory team for establishing a producer cooperative, and a roadmap for institutional strengthening and dairy product downstream development. These activities successfully increased SPR and prepared groups to transition toward formal and competitive institutional structures. This program is in line with efforts to achieve SDGs 2, 4, 8, 9, and 12 through increased productivity, sustainable education, economic growth, institutional innovation, and sustainable farming practices.
