Abstract

Dosen Pulang Kampung (Dospulkam) 2025 implemented at SMKN Pertanian Pembangunan Cianjur with the aim of improving the entrepreneurial competence of teachers and students through the development of hygienic food products from freshwater filamentous microalgae. The selected species, Spirogyra sp., was chosen due to its ability to grow well in the Cianjur region. This program focused on strengthening technical skills in cleaning, biomass handling, aseptic drying, and the production of Spirogyra nori. The series of activities included dissemination of previous research findings, training sessions, workshops, organoleptic testing, and microbiological analysis to ensure product quality and safety. The results demonstrated that both students and teachers were able to produce high-quality Spirogyra nori with a crisp texture. Microbiological evaluations indicated improved product quality compared to previous program periods. In addition to enhancing technical competencies, the program also increased students’ confidence in product marketing. Overall, the activities proved effective in supporting the development of a teaching factory, creating entrepreneurial opportunities for the school, and strengthening collaborative networks between IPB and SMKN PP Cianjur.
