Abstract

This community service program is motivated by the growing challenges faced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in competing within an increasingly dynamic market environment, along with rising consumer demands for environmentally friendly and sustainable products. The targeted partners—Rumah Kedelai Soya Ayu and MSME groups in Benteng Village, Ciampea District, Bogor Regency—continue to experience limitations in production, business management, marketing, and waste handling. The objective of this program is to strengthen the capacity of partner MSMEs to enhance product competitiveness through improved market access strategies, development of local-based product innovations, implementation of good business governance, adoption of standardized packaging and labeling techniques, and solid and liquid waste management practices to support social inclusion and long-term business sustainability. The methods applied include training, intensive assistance, hands-on product innovation practices, facilitation of expanded market networks, and initiation of marketing contracts with outlets and business partners. The main outcomes demonstrate increased knowledge and technical skills of MSME actors in modern and environmentally conscious production and business management, enhanced packaging and labeling quality that is more appealing and informative, the establishment of new marketing networks, and the achievement of six marketing cooperation agreements with DailyUS IPB, Indomaret, Indomarco, Amanda Brownies, Tahu Yun Yi, and the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG). In conclusion, the program on strengthening production, governance, and sustainability-based marketing successfully improved the independence and competitiveness of MSMEs, while also creating positive social and environmental benefits, thereby supporting sustainable local business development.
