The Lunang Silaut region is known as one of the palm oil centres in Pesisir Selatan Regency, but in terms of production and management, it still lags behind other regions. Not only does it have potential in the field of agriculture, but it also has potential in the fields of cultural and nature tourism. This patriotic expedition focused on obtaining information related to the development of areas based on the potential of the transmigration region. Data and information were collected directly in the field through interviews and secondary data collection to support the analysis. The results obtained show that for further development, it is necessary to improve the palm oil cultivation system by farmers and improve infrastructure such as roads and bridges to facilitate access to transport plantation products. In addition, to support government programmes related to downstreaming in industry, the construction of mini cooking oil factories can be an option in efforts to develop smallholder palm oil commodities, especially if the palm oil farmer community groups themselves manage them. In addition to the processing industry, the management of palm oil waste is also an additional economic option for the Lunang Silaut community. Efforts to develop the tourism sector of the Mande Rubiah Cultural Heritage Site and Sambungo Beach need to be carried out, both in terms of facilities and infrastructure and tourism planning, especially in the Sambungo Beach area.
