Abstract

This report summarises the implementation of the second year of the three-year plan of the "Regional-Based Empowerment" (PDB) program, with a focus on the Establishment of IPB University's Science Techno Park in the Field of Energy and Education in Situ Ilir Village, Cibungbulang, Bogor. This program is driven by the village's low educational level and abundant rice husk waste. The general objective of the activity is to establish a science techno park to apply IPB's superior research results and support regional development programs. The solutions implemented cover two main areas: Energy Sector: Training 20 farmer contacts to make IPB Husk Stoves to utilise rice husk waste as a new, renewable energy source, while increasing family energy security. Education Sector: Training 20 junior high and high school teachers using Phet.colorado.edu physics simulations to improve the quality of teacher education. Human Resources (HR). The activities implemented include Husk Stove Training in September 2025 and Virtual Laboratory Training in October 2025. The outputs achieved include news publications in mass media, articles accepted for publication in SINTA-accredited national journals, draft credit recognition for four students, activity videos on YouTube, posters, and Intellectual Property Rights in the form of registered Patents. This program aims to establish a husk stove production centre and PhET simulator cadres for village sustainability and independence.
