2026: Program Book FiSAED: Sustainable Natural Resources and Environmental Management
The Sustainable Management of Natural Resources and the Environment subtheme focuses on science-based approaches to manage natural resources, strengthen ecosystem resilience, and support sustainable agromaritime development. It covers nine focus areas: (1) Soil Science and Land Resources, promoting sustainable soil and land management; (2) Agronomy and Horticulture, advancing resilient and resource-efficient crop production; (3) Plant Protection, developing sustainable strategies for managing pests, diseases, and plant health; (4) Landscape Architecture, integrating ecological principles into sustainable landscape planning and design; (5) Fisheries and Marine Science, supporting sustainable aquatic resources and marine ecosystems; (6) Animal Science, improving sustainable livestock production and resource use; (7) Forestry, advancing forest conservation, restoration, and sustainable management; (8) Environmental Science and Management, addressing environmental quality, pollution, and resource governance; and (9) Agrometeorology and Geophysics, applying climate, weather, and geophysical information to strengthen environmental and production resilience. Together, these areas contribute to sustainable resource use, ecosystem protection, and long-term agromaritime resilience. This subtheme aligns strongly with:

This highlights the significance of cross-disciplinary collaboration in promoting sustainable management practices to protect natural resources for future generations.
