This study investigates the characteristics of biodiesel produced from waste cooking oil (WCO) using non-catalytic methods. The growing environmental concern regarding waste disposal and the need for sustainable energy sources has prompted the exploration of waste cooking oil as a feedstock for biodiesel production. This research employs the non-catalytic transesterification process to convert WCO into biodiesel, eliminating the need for chemical catalysts and reducing production costs. Key parameters such as yield, viscosity, density, flash point, and cetane number are analyzed to assess the produced biodiesel's quality and compliance with international standards. The results indicate that biodiesel derived from WCO through the non-catalytic method exhibits favorable fuel properties, making it a viable alternative to conventional diesel. The study also highlights the potential environmental and economic benefits of using waste cooking oil as a feedstock for biodiesel production, contributing to waste reduction and the promotion of renewable energy.
