Bergera koenigii is a plant that originated in India. Bergera koenigii is traditionally used by Peusangan people of Bireuen district as a culinary ingredient, food flavoring, traditional medicine, and as air freshener. Peusangan people know Bergera koenigii by the name temurui.This study aims to determine the utilization of Bergera koenigii plants in daily life in the Peusangan community. This research was conducted in the sub-district of Peusangan, Bireuen regency, Aceh province. The method used in this research is exploration and observation using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) technique, which is an assessment that is oriented towards the process of involvement and participation of the community in the research. Respondents were selected by purposive sampling, which consisting of 54 people. The results showed that the local community use temerui for culinary ingredients (50,00%), food flavoring (40.74%), as traditional medicine (5.55%) and air freshener (3.70%). The most widely used plant part used is the leaf.
