Abstract

This training activity is a Lecturer Serving Innovation program of IPB which is an innovation dissemination program from universities to the community. The activity carried out is training in vannamei shrimp cultivation with a circular pond system using biofloc technology. This system is very suitable for Cirebon City which has limited land and water resources. Marine pollution and high acidity levels in ponds due to the high use of insecticides by farmers have caused conventional pond businesses to fail so that cultivated shrimp are no longer produced. Cirebon City is trying to revive the shrimp brand with a housing-scale urban farming program.
