The Empowerment of Regional Featured Product Business Partners (PM-UPUD) is an entrepreneurship-based community service program funded by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education. It is designed for university lecturers from non-target clusters to support SME development. The program aims to enhance the production capacity and quality of processed egg products—salted eggs, egg flour, and salted egg sauce flour-produced by UKM Abinisa, a leading SME in Serang, Banten's duck egg processing industry. To maintain competitiveness, UKM Abinisa requires product innovation and technological adoption for consistent quality and productivity.The PM-UPUD program employs a structured methodology emphasizing supply chain continuity and production improvement. It includes socialization and training on Good Food Production Practices (GFP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), or Cara Produksi Pangan yang Baik (CPPB), alongside technological applications, mentorship, and evaluation. First-year activities included: (1). Marketing training via social media was delivered, (2). Training on cage sanitation and feed management was conducted, (3). The implementation of CPPB standards was carried out, (4). Marketing content was developed, (5). Pasteurization technology for salted egg sauce flour was introduced, (6). and Standard operating procedures (SOPs) were formulated. These initiatives have yielded significant outputs, including partner empowerment, student involvement, news publications, audiovisual materials, and scientific articles. The first year’s achievements provide a strong foundation for the remaining phases of this three-year program, aiming to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of UKM Abinisa within the regional duck egg processing industry.
