The Cassamore-based Cassava Analog Maize Dissemination Program was designed to address the underutilization of cassava as a local alternative feed ingredient in sheep production systems. This community empowerment activity was conducted from July to September 2025 in Cipicung Village, Cijeruk District, Bogor Regency, and involved the Mandiri Livestock Farmers Group (KPM Cipicung Sejahtera Bersama) as key partners. The program was structured into a series of participatory training sessions, combining interactive discussions with hands-on practice. A total of 50 farmers actively participated throughout the program, engaging in both knowledge sessions and practical fieldwork. Evaluation results through pre- and post-tests indicated a significant improvement in farmers’ knowledge and skills, particularly in cassava-based feed processing and moringa utilization, which increased awareness of the economic potential of local resources. The program not only enhanced technical capacity but also contributed to strengthening local feed security, reducing dependency on conventional maize and commercial concentrates, and supporting sustainable sheep farming practices in rural communities.
