Optimalisasi Produksi Press Release dengan Artificial Intelligence: Transformasi Digital dalam Komunikasi Pemerintah Kabupaten Pesawaran

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance the competence of government officials of Pesawaran Regency in producing press releases that are effective, efficient, and compliant with journalistic standards through the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The innovation implemented in this activity was the use of KelasAbung Press Suite, an AI-based tool designed to support the systematic preparation of press releases through a structured form-filling mechanism. The method employed was a participatory training method, which positioned participants as active subjects in the learning process through stages of preparation and coordination with partners, delivery of conceptual materials, demonstration of AI utilization, hands-on practice, as well as discussion and evaluation. The activity involved 30 officials from the Office of Communication, Informatics, Statistics, and Encryption of Pesawaran Regency. The results indicated that participants were able to understand and independently implement the workflow of KelasAbung Press Suite, starting from completing each form to producing press releases ready for publication. Furthermore, participants expressed positive responses to the activity, as it was perceived to improve work efficiency, accelerate the press release production process, and maintain consistency in structure and writing quality. Overall, this community service activity contributes to supporting the digital transformation of public communication and strengthening the capacity of human resources within local government institutions.
