The Bomberay-Tomage Transmigration Area, Fakfak Regency, West Papua Province, has great and diverse agricultural resource potential, particularly in sago, rice, vegetable horticulture, and fruit horticulture. However, the development of these commodities still faces various obstacles, including suboptimal management from upstream to downstream, low added value of products, and the lack of an integrated regional business ecosystem. The study on the design of the development of specific leading commodities in the Bomberay-Tomage transmigration area serves as the basis for strengthening sustainable economic development in the area based on local potential. The methods used to carry out the activities include field observations, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), participatory mapping, value chain analysis, and the determination of commodity priorities using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results of the activities show that sago is a key commodity with high added value potential through the development of processed products and the utilization of waste, while rice plays a strategic role in supporting regional food security and horticulture contributes to household daily income. This activity resulted in mapping the potential of the region, identifying critical points in the value chain, and designing an integrated business ecosystem development model that involves strengthening community institutions and multi-stakeholder partnerships. The results of this activity are expected to serve as a reference in formulating programs and policies for the sustainable development of transmigration areas based on specific regional leading commodities.
